Prime responsibilities and dutiesKey Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries, internal reports, account analysis, and reconciliations.Preparation of bank reconciliation statements and cash forecast.Work closely with the management to ensure timely payment to suppliers.Responsible for controlling Petty cash, payments, and deposits.Ensure that all accounts receivable invoices are raised and sent out as required.Process journal entries and gather supporting documentation for all entries.Analyse and reconcile accounts related to all assigned areas on a monthly basis.Maintain schedules for all balance sheet items.Ensure all Intercompany bookings are booked on a monthly basis.Assist with compiling monthly financial, cost, and variance reports to be presented to the management.Maintain suitable filing systems for related documents.Preparation of payroll, WPS file and assist with general ad-hoc HR admin tasks.Recommend process and/or system changes to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.Coordinate with relevant departments to smooth out processes for production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, receiving, shipping, and others.To complete the accounting, monthly closing, and reporting of company accounts.Responsible for stock reporting and stock accuracy by liaising with the operational staff.Participate in improving and setting up process within the company.Key InterfacesGeneral ManagerOutsourced financial mgmt.Internal teamsThird party VendorsImporatant characteristics:Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of client companies and related parties.Confident and presentable.Desire to work in a fast growing start-up type environment and have their hands in multiple areas of the business.Culturally aware and sensitive.
