We are looking for Safety OfficerJob PurposeTo conduct safety survey and carry out safety inspection in order to observed physical condition of work,work places and procedures.Supervision and implementation of safe working practices, safe system of work and safety rules.Duties and Responsibilities1. To carry out plant safety inspection to monitor unsafe conditions, unsafe practices and enforce safe system of work and safe practices 2. To issue Specialist Advisors Report and identified hazards for the specific work area and minimize the risk from those hazards recommendations for the actions to be taken to minimize the risk from those hazards.3. Controlling and monitoring of hazardous chemicals handling, acid cleaning and work at height4. Being a member of housing keeping committee monitor the house keeping in plant5. To prepare the schedule and follow up of Site Safety Inspection completed by 17 Site Safety6. Member of site safety inspection and site safety sub- committee to enforce safe system of work and safe practices.7. Conducting Site Safety Induction Training with ITM and Contractors staff members8. To follow Authorization of permits acceptors UAN East, West and Station B.9. Organizing and distribution of personal protective Equipment. Conduction training for correct use of PPE.10. Attending Off time plant emergencies Fire Drills and with Mutual Aid Partners of Sas 11. Assist Safety Manager in organizing Internal Mock Fire Drills and with Mutual Aid Partners of Sas Al- Nakhal Island.12. Follow and attending the meeting with members of oilfield security and social development committee.13. Co-ordinating with fire fighting staff members to ensure fire protection system, equipments are in proper condition and follow the testing of fire fighting pumps.14. To assist and co-ordinate safety Manager for safety to promote fire & safety awareness among theother activities in association with concern section employees15. Being a member of Fresh Eyes observation committee follow the behavior based Fresh Eyes Observations in UAN site.16. To follow up defect cards /work order relating fire and safety17. Assist safety Manager to prepare departments monthly report.Jobs related to AD EHSMSHelp to ensure safe working environment Report all accidents near misses and safety concerns to the supervisor and EHS sectionwork as per procedure and best safety practice to ensure safe EHS .Stop operation that are in clear violation of the safety requirements approved SOPs or may be potentially results in injuries or potential exposures to hazardsUse personal protective equipment and engineering controls appropriate to their work report all unsafe conditions to supervisor or safety committee as soon as is reasonably possibleWarn co-workers about effective equipment and other HazardsParticipate in health and safety training applicable to their work situation participate in required site safety inspection and monitoring programs and when required
