Job Description

We are looking for QC Inspector for UAE.JOB PURPOSE:Develop and initiate methods for inspection, testing and their evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering field. Full knowledge of key processes for e.g. Welding, Fabrication, Erection, NDE, Installation / inspection of piping, steel structure, Rotary and Static Equipment. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data In order to meet product specificationKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Description :-Study Clearly and Deeply Contract Information: ? Study contract & specification thoroughly for developing PQP and QIPs for various projects to meet customer?s expectation / requirements comprehensively in order to reach successful endsQA/QC F1edback and Evaluations:? Responsible to maintain QA&QC feed back record from various project sites to evaluate the project performance and/or to furnish quality proposals Providing Technical Support:? Ensuring the Provision of technical support to coordinator proposal for project proposals to estimate cost Provision Of Assistance For Technical Evaluations:? Responsible to provide assistance to Subco/Procurement for technical evaluation of subcontractors/suppliers as per laid down policies/instructions.Writing Training Material, and Coaching:? Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities & must be conversant to coach new comers on Inspection and Testing techniques and equip them with the skill to gainfully utilize various Inspection and Testing tools and equipment.Enhance The Productivity:? Must look into various techniques, equipments and tools in consultation with vendors, key process owners and commercial staff to enhance the productivity of various constructions and manufacturing processesReporting The Cost Of Quality and Customer Feedback:? Ensure proper implementation of cost of quality and customer feedback procedure/method statements at sites for on time improvement where requiredAnswering Customer Queries:? Must Provide assistance to BA/Project management in answering all queries of the customers, relating to quality of work in order to facilitate themTaking the Ownership of Company QHSE Policy:? Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy? Comply with all QA/QC standards (DIMS documents) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.Key Performance Indicators? Study Codes & Standards & Client Specification.? Maintain Monthly QA&QC Feed back? Coordinating and facilitating ? Provision of Technical evaluation to Subcontracts / Procurement.? Training Materials for QA/ QC Batch? Introducing new techniques. ? Monitoring customer feedback and cost of quality sheetsAnswering Customer Queries:? Must Provide assistance to BA/Project management in answering all queries of the customers, relating to quality of work in order to facilitate themTaking the Ownership of Company QHSE Policy:? Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy? Comply with all QA/QC standards (DIMS documents) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.JOB CONTEXT:? Ongoing with departmental staff, In-charge, Manager for work related issues? Ongoing communication with Projects Management, departments in all BA?s/BSD?s regarding QC issues, monthly QA/QC Feedback? Has an important role in reviewing and advising on the Quality Control documentsCOMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Internal: ? Departmental staff, Head QA/QC and I/C QC for work related issues? Communication with other BA/BSDs regarding quality related issues ? Communication with In charge site QA/QC External:? Communication with third party inspection agencies and authorized inspectors.FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:? Works under general direction of the In-charge Quality Control.? Work is done as per QC Procedures.
