Responsibilities:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceClean assigned public areas throughout hotelEmpty trash in all public areas and clean public area restroomsClean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shinyVacuum carpets where neededFollow departmental policies, procedures and service standardsReport necessary maintenance itemsFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Previous housekeeping experience an assetProficient in EnglishExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
