We are looking for Material Engineer for UAE.Purpose and Scope:This Job Description describes the duties and responsibilities Materials Engineer.Dimensions:Should be conversant with SAP Version 6.0 PM Module.Should be fully aware of MS Office applications.Should be conversant with all related ducoments such as P&ID and Isometric drawings. Should be fully competant with API/ASME/ANSI/TEMA/R/B31.3 standards. Should be fully competant with all types of materials in LNG plantsSupport to:ADGAS team,Core team,Execution team,Duties Performed:? Should be able to raise Purchase requisition in SAP system.? Should be conversant with tracking of PR/PO/Materials receipt at store.? Should be conversant with materials handling, transportation, and preservation.? Continuos monioring of materials status and prepare periodic progress report.? Liaises regularly with ADGAS TA Team Members to ensure all TA materials are actioned to meet the TA requirement.? Act on all long Lead items/obsolete items in advance to meet the TA requirement.? Technical Supports/Guide the core Team for Bill of materials preparation of all major works including modifications in order to ensure successful execution of Trains Turnaround.? Supports/Guide sub-ordinates (material coordinator and store keepers) in order to ensure proper materials management? Should have hands on experience on Tagging/Bagging/safe delivery of materials at site.? Prepares Technical review/evaluation & preliminary approval of all materials for the Turnaround, ensures materials comply with company standards and are correct specification for the duty.? Use experience, knowledge of standards and best engineering practices and innovative thinking to develop solutions to the many and varied activities of Material management.? Conduct regular meeting with Core Team Members to resolve material issues for effective planning activities.? Prepare materials consumption report (Plan. Vs actual) after TA.? Promotes Quality workmanship in line with ADGAS requirements and management directives through discussions and meetings with work force during TA.
