Landscape Architects - Associate, Senior, Mid-Level - Dubai & Abu DhabiA landscape and urban design consultancy in the UAE is seeking to significantly grow its team of experienced Landscape Architects by adding an Associate, 2 Senior, and up to 3 Mid-Level LA's across its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.This is a genuinely rare opportunity. Vacancies like these are often targeted at professionals already based in the UAE but this client is looking further afield.The CompanyEstablished in the mid-2000's by European Design professionals, the consultancy has grown steadily and now employs 85 people, with 50 working within the overall design area. It's a very international team with people from over 20 countries and the atmosphere is both professional and collegiate.Projects are varied and located throughout the UAE. Civic spaces, parks and recreation, transport, infrastructure and residential all feature, with urban design and masterplanning also part of the mix.To maintain their leading edge, the company is keen to add international talent in order to freshen up design approach and differentiate from their local competition.The RolesThe Associate LA position is very senior and will be a key leadership role, running part or all of a regional office. Responsibility encompasses complete planning and design from bid stage to completion. This is also a very client-facing role.The Senior LA will be responsible for all aspects of site analysis & planning; conceptual design; design development and preparation of construction plans, details and specifications for landscape architecture projects. Team management and mentoring of junior colleagues is also a feature.Mid-Level LA's will typically have 5 years' hands-on experience and demonstrate design and conceptual flair.The PersonAll candidates will need a post-graduate qualification in Landscape architecture and, preferably, professional affiliations.Broadly speaking, Associates will require 15 years' experience; Seniors 10 years, and Mid-Level 5 years.
