Job Title: GENERAL TECHNICIANSalary Description: Competitive Salary OfferedSCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:Responsible for hotel to maintain machines and other engineering repair and maintenance works.CORE DUTIES:MaintenanceProper handling of engineering repair and maintenance supplies, spare parts, machines & equipment s.Proper planning and implementation of Engineering Maintenance Schedule in-term of Mechanical maintenance and other areas to avoid breakdowns and damages.Immediate action to the problem in terms of repairs and breakdowns.OperationalEnsure that all pumps, valves, fittings, machines and equipment s are working properly and well maintained.Coordinate with Engineering supervisor and assistant engineer regarding the works schedule and get proper instructions concerning the assigned job.Ensure that all Engineering Operational Procedures are well and properly followed under the supervision of Engineering supervisor and assistant engineerSubmit necessary reports required by Engineering supervisor and assistant engineerCoordinates with concern departments or sections in courteous and efficient manner before work implementation to be done.Ensure the availability of spare parts and materials at all times.Any abnormalities and breakdowns regarding mechanical machines and equipment s must be immediately reported to Engineering supervisor and assistant engineer and conduct necessary action.Ensure that property and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient operating condition.Be a part of Energy Conservation Program of the HotelGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES1. To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.2. To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.3. To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times, and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.4. To demonstrate pride in the workplace and display pleasant personal appearance at all times.5. To abide by Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.6. To ensure that standards required by Law are complied with and maintained at all times.OCCASSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES1. Reports any equipment failures or problems to the Engineering department.2. Reports suspicious activities, persons or objects to the Security and Safety department.3. Participates in Trainings and other development activities as scheduled by the company.4. Participates in Corporate Social Responsibility programs organized by the company.5. To perform and comply with any reasonable request made by Management to the best of your ability.
