? Develops protocols for plans of care, coordinates care by supervision of mid-level. Ensures that the medical activities conform to all policies of the corporation.? Responsible for the provision of complete, comprehensive and family-oriented outpatient care for clients throughout the life cycle.? Works closely with the Chief Executive Officer in developing policies and procedures for the provider staff, requesting privileging by the Board of Directors for each new hire.? Ensures accurate, timely documentation of the client s medical records, as per the established protocols.? Accountable for preparing the budget estimate of the Medical Department every year.? Oversees and participates in recruitment / promotions to fulfil the manpower requirement of the department in accordance with the rules and regulations in force.? Represents the hospital in a professional, competent manner in the community.? Evaluates and communicates recommendations for utilization of space, space needs, equipment, personnel and other resources as needed.? Ensures maintenance high quality of patient care and the introduction of modern techniques and therapeutic agents.? Directs the Quality Assurance Committee and conducts monthly assessments of clinical data per the Quality Assurance calendar.? Advises the CEO on medical and administrative problems; confers regularly with and reports to the CEO.? Other duties, as delegated by the CEO.Qualification Required:? MD/MS is essential.? Western educated and Board certified.? Additional course work in business, management or medical management strongly preferred.Experience Required:? Minimum 7 years post-graduate experience in a similar role in a reputed hospital.? Experience in JCIA process is desired.? Strong knowledge of current principles and practices of medicine.? Well-versed with administrative practices and procedures, rules, regulations, policies, and standards related to hospital medical services.? Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
