Your day to dayAs a Bartender you will a ssist to ensure the smooth conduct of the shift through customer focused service delivery. Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.Your day-to-dayEnsures seamless operation of barAssists to ensure constant updates of creative cocktail/mocktail offeringsAssists to ensures trainings of beverage knowledge to entire teamEnsures consistency in beverage preparationEnsures profitability of bar operationProvides customer service in accordance to standard operating proceduresEnsures reordering, stacking and cleanliness of bar areaAnticipates guests needs by following service behaviourEndeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow upExecutes cash handling and banking proceduresEstablish and instruct staff in cash security proceduresAssists in the maintenance of service equipmentMonitor standards of guest facilities and servicesControl stock and monitor security proceduresWhat we need from youIdeally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:Great communication skillsAbility to work in a team and in different functionsWarm and inviting personalityAbility to think calmly under pressureWillingness to learn open-mindedlyPassion of food and curiosity for something newBasic organisation skills in restaurant operation
