We are also excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning and experimenting, and enjoy engaging in passionate discussions with people and letting the best ideas rise to the top.We are looking for an Information Systems Architect supporting the HP Workforce Solutions (HPWS) business with a track record of designing and implementing technology solutions. The candidate will be responsible for defining customer-oriented end-to-end digital solutions focused on bringing product/service offerings to market in support of the HPWS business functions. This role will work in tight partnership with the HPWS Business, Commercial Organization, Business Technology, and other functions/organizations, in identifying high-value opportunities to explore, adopt, and use integrated and innovative end-to-end digital solutions, leveraging existing and new platforms and tools.The ideal candidate would have hands-on software development, architecture & design and would require a balance of business process and product-centric technical expertise and the ability to navigate complex solutions with multiple platforms, systems, and teams.Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with experience architects to define, update, and re-imagine touchpoints across the impacted customer journey
  • Partner with process architects on identifying and improving the various processes that are tied to the go-to-market value chains and customer journeys
  • Define and drive the end-to-end customer-oriented technical solution architecture for enterprise enablement in partnership with various domain and application architects
  • Partner with the service product managers, go-to-market teams, customer, sales support teams and solution managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the offering lifecycle
  • Define and guide strategic and transitional architecture solutions aligned to the business outcomes of the various service and product offerings
  • Identify and resolve technical pain points across the go-to-market value chains of the key business functions within HPWS
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for emerging technologies and fundamentally different and efficient solutions of go-to-market capabilities
  • Collaborate extensively with HPWS business, Business Technology, Sales Operations, and various product teams to define solutions that drive the overall business outcomes
  • Provide technical guidance and support to solution delivery teams throughout the initiative lifecycle around design, platforms, emerging technologies, etc.
  • Ensure standards and best practices are being followed as part of the implementation of the solutions
  • Responsible for project design deliverables
  • Assess the technical impact of multiple technologies/strategies
  • Identify and address technical or operational risks
Education, Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of software design and development experience
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and deploying scalable and performant web applications at regional/global scale
  • Experience in solutioning complex and challenging business requirements and digitizing complex end-to-end business flows and processes
  • Experience and/or exposure to process mapping and reengineering activities
  • Experience and proficiency in waterfall and agile development methodologies
  • Experience and proficiency in program and design tools and applications
  • Ability to understand customer business challenges, convert them into clear problem statements and well-articulated system designs & solutions to resolve and/or enable business growth
  • Ability to communicate and synthesize business requirements into actionable architecture solutions
  • Is aware of future technology or operational trends as they relate to and support customer technical requirements
  • Demonstrates a good knowledge across multiple technical or operational disciplines
  • Is a master of one or more technical or operational disciplines
  • Ability to design planning for accessibility, scalability, and availability
  • Ability to write Design documents and Statements of Work for small to medium size solutions for single technologies or operational areas
  • Ability to apply program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure the accomplishment of targeted goals for projects
  • Ability to lead a team. Supports Solution and Delivery Managers in solutions, designing and delivering the project/programs. For architectures of project scope may include the technical management of staff assigned to the implementation team
  • Work independently and able to manage medium to large-scale initiatives
  • Good business acumen, strategic mindset, and effective interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and thrive in an environment where problems are open-ended
  • Ability to use various presentation tools to persuasively communicate complex messages to multiple audience levels. Proven ability to communicate in an objective manner to customers and teams
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills
