• This position must operate on-site at the customer assembly plant during the required shift/s to support vehicle assembly plant quality and related issues.
• Daily notification of Customer plant issues including, Quality, Engineering or Production.
• Maintain customer concern countermeasure list for Plant issues.
• Prompt reply to customer concerns by requesting it to wire harness plant.
• Knowledge of Wire Harness Plant Quality and Production Procedures.
• Support to Customer quality issues.
• Support supplier quality issues.
• Knowledge of Wire Harness Inspection Standards. ? Able to communicate directly with Customer to address Quality issues.
• Able to dispute or reject, with data or empirical knowledge, any customer rejection that is not Lear?s responsibility.
• Immediate and permanent communication of quality issues at Customer location.
• Ensures Lear?s quality complies with standards and specifications, workmanship standards.
• Inspects the product and/or audits processes based upon the drawing requirements.
• Requests and understands Inspection and Rework methods for solving quality issues at customer plant.
• Tracks and reduces rejected inventory.
• Verifies conformance of parts and assemblies to standards and specifications.
• Able to walk long distances within Customer assembly plant.
• Must follow all Lear?s and Customer safety guidelines, standards and procedures.
• Must be able to work at customer production line when his/her participation is required

Your Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3D and 2D wire harness and components prints.
• Ability to analyze problems to include asking the appropriate questions and gathering additional information in order to identify causes of and solutions to problems.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical functions.
• Need strong communication skills to report quality issues to Lear Plants and interact with customer quality members including management.
• Excellent communication skills to explain or clarify to Lear plant or Customer
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Word, and Teams
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Bonus If You Have:

• Knowledge of Wire Harness Inspection Standards.

• Knowledge of wire harness assembly and ability to repair/replace.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical functions
• College Degree desired but not required based on experience
