* Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations and permits.* Strengthen the Safety culture through continuous improvement of comprehensive health and safety management policies, programs, and procedures to control inherent risks with guidance from regional H&S lead.* Ensure robust EHS compliance by managing and implementing strong EHS policies, programs, verification programs and procedures with guidance from regional lead.* Manage the sites Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plan and serves as leader of the sites Business Continuity Team.* Participate on the site operations team and provide EHS support and guidance.* Provide technical expertise in the areas of injury and illness prevention, risk assessments, safety and health audits, incident investigations and corrective action plans, safety and health standard interpretation, ergonomics, plant protection and emergency response to assure compliance with Corporate Standards.* Assist site to develop, and meet EHS site & corporate objectives, to improve EHS performance, reduce and minimize spills and incidents, by developing and conducting comprehensive safety and health training, education and inspection programs.* Perform incident investigations and participate in the Workers Compensation and Return to Work activities.* Provide effective input regarding site EHS concerns, and assure effective communications within sites Tenants, Leadership Team and regional Functional Leaders. Maintain current information and documentation related to sites EHS compliance, concerns, knowledge systems, and EHS performance* Provide Solid & Hazardous Waste Management guidance to site personnel* Manage all water & UST compliance activities* Manage air and water permits and associated compliance plans* Lead air compliance activities, with support from the regional environmental lead as needed* Provide support to process safety activities, with assistance from Global EHS as needed* Provide EHS emergency response technical expertise* Monthly review of Control Units performance data and reporting.* Conduct and/or lead inspections of various Safety equipment*Incident management, Investigations & Executive Protection; be the site point of contact for Global Security (including the Global Security Operations Centre, New York) for the following aspects:+ Incidents or crisis events.+ In support of investigation activity.+ In support of Executive Protection Planning involving the site.+ Oversee the implementation of recommendations after site security assessments by Global Security.*Standards; maintain awareness of the Pfizer security standard (our Minimum Security Requirements). Maintain the Site Security Plan, the Site Profile (on the Global Security Argos web site) and site operational procedures. Ensure that new space activity and/or procurement of security equipment complies with this standard. Conduct an annual risk assessment of the business function (including all regional offices) and ensure that appropriate security measures are in place. *Awareness and guidance; educate and inform the business about relevant security programs and issues. Ensure there is a security induction process for new starters.*Financial management;responsible for site security capital and operating budget.*Security liaison;keep abreast about specific threats and remediation strategies in country by engaging with local law enforcement agencies and the Regional Security Officer at the local US Embassy. Foster relationships with other like-minded security professionals and partner with other in-country SSOs.*Vendor management; monitor and manage performance of vendors providing security services at site. For example, security guarding, maintenance of security equipment etc.* Facilitate the annual completion of the Site Information Protection Plan (SIPP). This will help assess the status of a sites information security program. Once the SIPP has been submitted, ISOs will review the results with Global Information Security and develop a plan to make any necessary improvement and communicate that plan to your site leadership.* Be an advocate and subject matter expert for handling sensitive information.* ISOs serve as a site point of contact for any questions related to how to protect Pfizer information.* Attend 1 in-person Global Information Security (GIS) co-sponsored ISO Seminar as well as 3 out of 4 ISO Forums which are virtual general meetings hosted over WebEx. These meetings are important as it is through these training sessions that ISOs receive important updates to policies, programs, priorities, and awareness campaigns.* Deliver key information security awareness to colleagues as part of prioritized campaigns established by Global Information Security.* Ensure colleagues at facilities are aware of how to report information incidents.* Run at least 1 annual information security awareness day to promote good practices regarding trade secret protection, handling sensitive information and acceptable use of Pfizer systems.* Conduct at least one annual site-wide clean desk inspection.
