MDG represents about one third of ST?s business.MDG represents around 3 000 employees (mainly R&D teams in France) located in 40 countries, with a revenue of above3 billion dollars in 2020. It is addressing 2 major activities: first, General Purpose (GP) Microcontrollers, Memories and Secure Micro (MMS Subgroup) covers all products based on Non-Volatile Memory technologies. It represents 80% of MDG business and second, The RFC Sub-Group focusing on Radio Frequency, Digital & Mixed Signals activities, represents 20% of MDG business.About GPM:The General-Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group (GPM) is the largest division at ST Microelectronics and the world leader in the microcontroller market supported by our STM32 products.Leader in the Internet of Things market which is a rapidly expanding sector driven by strong growth, GPM Division asserts its ambition in the Microcontroller market (STM32) by continuing to innovate and to bring tomorrows solutions.Passionated, motivated, join our teams of state of the art engineers.PROFILE REQUIRED:Within software validation team, you will contribute to STM32 Programming tools validation:- New features study and Tests specifications with development and design teams.- Validation Test Plan preparation aligned to the specification document- Validation Tests execution for each delivery and report generation- Communication with all stakeholders about reported issues and contribution to the investigations.- Design and development of automatic tests- Integration of automatic tests into the Automatic PlatformSoftware Engineer:- Strong academic background in Software/Electronics Engineering is essential- Experience of embedded software development with a solid understanding of the design life cycle- Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers architecture and ecosystems- Knowledge of Communication, Analog and system microcontroller peripherals and communication protocols (I2C, UART, USB, SPI, CAN, JTAG, SWD)- Solid programming and scripting experience (automation): Python, VBScript, Shell.- Experience of using software configuration management tools, code review, defect tracking tools, and peer review (Git, Bugzilla, gerrit?)- Strong documentation, writing and reporting skills.- Good English skills (speaking, reading, and writing)- Multi-tasker, independent, punctual, and accurate with excellent organizational skills- Team oriented, collaborative, good personal relationshipsEducation level required5 - Master degreeExperience level requiredLess than 2 yearsLanguagesEnglish (2- Business fluent)French (2- Business fluent)CONTACT & APPLY FORM:Learn more about STMicroelectronics on:And ask your questions: : STMicroelectronicsFacebook : STMicroelectronics
