Unlike roles with similar names at the other companies, Quality Assurance Engineers at Expensya arent manual testers you write scripts to automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code. You use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, and other advanced quality concepts across products.Responsibilities Develop scalable and reliable automated tests for software and feature quality at both system and user level. Design test strategies. Identify and manage project testing priorities and issues across releases, develop schedules and designs. Identify, discuss, document and communicate technical improvements within your area of responsibility. Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary to improve software testing processes and methodologies. Close collaboration with technical and non-technical roles to understand and challenge end user requirements, and ultimately to improve quality and customer experience..Preferred experienceQualifications Masters degree (or higher) in CS, Math, Engineering, or other technical field. 2+ years of software development experience using C# / C++. Knowledge of Typescript, Angular and/or React. Experience in building test automation frameworks and tools for serving components. Passion for tooling, with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience working in an agile setup using continuous deployment and delivery (Git, CI/CD).
