Main Purpose of the role:Technical Support, End user trainings, SP3D based programming for automation, Intra Discipline interface for requirements gathering, Project Delivery supportResponsibilities:? Developments / Automation in SP3D domain for Engineering, integrated with Enterprise Engineering systems (Hexagon, AVEVA & In house).? Responsible for liaising with Engineering SMEs to identify requirements for business process improvisation & defining the Requirement Definition Specification? Translating the Requirement Specifications into SmartPlant automation using the best practices defined.? Training end users & rolling out the developments as standard methodology across projects? Manage the process of Change with respect to SP3D automation routines & carry out impact analysis prior to implementing the change. ? Responsible for SP3D applications and their interfaces with other applications.? Responsible to providing clear plans and goal setting in managing the activities of that are assigned.? Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting on critical issues on SP3D projects.? Engagement with software vendors & be up to date with latest version of the application from time to time ? Interface with our Clients & JV partners to manage project deliverySkills & competencies:? Knowledge of engineering activities in relation to SP3D.? Excellent knowledge of SP3D automation, customisation of catalogs & libraries.? Knowledge of SP3D data structure, metadata, SQL queries. ? Comprehensive programming expertise using VB 6 and .NET SP3D APIs to implement automation routines.? Must be able to work individually and develop custom symbols, custom commands, custom labels & reports for SP3D. ? Able to develop logic to integrate SP3D with other Hexagon products & legacy systems. ? Knowledge of SmartPlant Review, Navisworks, Tekla and its meta data.Knowledge of CAD applications such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and SmartSketch.Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering Degree, having worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 10 years with experience in 3D automation role in a head office environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have business process know how in addition to the expertise with 3D Tools
