Lamprell Energy Ltd is looking for a Paramedic/Male Nurse with any license from DHA / HAAD / MOH on a 6 months Temporary Employment to be based in Hamriyah freezone, Sharjah.To support the development and implementation of health care programmes, primary health care, health training, health advice and emergency response.To support the Health Advisor in all aspects of occupational health and hygiene in line with MOH standards and UAE legal requirements.Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities :? Control of Occupational Health Hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychological).? Conducted health risk assessments along with HSE team and provided professional advice to establish control measures in order to eliminate or minimize the associated risk.? Implemented the Health Surveillance and Monitoring System to ensure that associated health risks are reduced to a level that is as low as reasonably practicable.? Implemented Pre-employment and Periodic Health screening procedures.? Implement Sickness absence monitoring programme.? Organise Health and Fitness programmes to increase employee health awareness.? Maintain employee medical records and the analysis of trends.? Support Company Drug and Alcohol programme.? Perform Fitness for Duty and Pre-employment assessments.? Provide emergency patient assessment, stabilisation, evacuation escort and ongoing patient support.? Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professional relations.? Develop health awareness campaigns and implement SMS text alert programme.? Participate in Incident Investigations.? Participate in internal Health & Hygiene audit programme.? Provide timely Clinic status / IP status reporting and Hospital / Clinic referral authorisation.? Perform 6-monthly health screening for workers involved in high risk work activities.? Perform post-employment screening to be in line with new sickness absence procedure.? Deliver training of OH topics.? Ensure compliance with clinic generated waste procedures.? Coordinate the calibration of Clinical equipment.? Carryout procedural reviews.? Ensure compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable.? Ensure compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.Key Performance Indicator :? Timely and accurate completion of Health Activity Schedule.? Delivery of Health Screening Plan targets.? The reduction in sickness and occupational illness cases.? Consistently robust case management with regular updates to key parties.? Effective management of Health team resources.? Reduce overtime.Role Specific Competencies:? Holding valid Nursing Diploma/Degree from recognized by Medical council of Home country.? Holding Valid Medical license issued by Ministry of Health, UAE.? Local and Federal Regulations and Codes of Practice.? International Standards, Regulations and Codes of Practice.? Keeping updates with current medical knowledge.
