Splicing Technician / Fiber Optic TechnicianJob Location : SharjahGood salary and benefits will be offeredJob Description :Installation of telecom systems such as racks, cable tray ladders, fiber ducts, and fiber optics.Terminate various forms of telecommunications and electrical wiring and cabling including copper and fiber optic cabling, patch panelsFusion and Mechanical Splicing of SM or MM Fiber Optic Cables of various types of connectors (ST/SC/LC).Testing of Fiber Optic Cables using OTDR, Optical Power Meter.Installation and testing of splice closures on all types and s of cable. Installation and dressing of fiber optic cables.Work with engineers and/or Project Managers to perform splicing as directed.Requirements :Minimum 2 Years experience in related fieldExperienced in Terminating, Splicing optical fiber cable, Testing, Jointing different types of fiber optic cablesQualification:Diploma/Degree in Telecommunication / Electronics/Electrical.Nationality:Any Nationality can apply.Only applicants who are currently in UAE will be considered.Should have knowledge of different types of fiber splicing like Fujikura, Sumitomo.With FOA/FTTH certification.
