Role Specific Competencies:-Minimum PCN/CSWIP/ISO 9712 Level II in UT (3.1, 3.2, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9)/MT/PT/RTFI or equivalent.-5 years in Ultrasonic inspections of welds in offshore fabrication industry.-Technical Engineering Qualification (Diploma).-Communicate (written & oral) in the English language with confidence.-Excellent listening & interpersonal skills.-Physically fit and able to work in extreme climatic conditions.-Documentation, computer operation, procedures & systems.-Conscientious and thorough.-Content to deal with detailed, routine work.-Able to work under pressure.Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:-Interpretation of Codes, Standards and specifications.-Preparation of non-destructive testing reports.-Maintenance of non-destructive testing equipment.-Input into the Lamprell nominated computer system for welding control and reporting.-Maintain key relationships with Co-coordinators of QAQC, QAQC Inspectors and Project & Production Team.-Guidance to junior inspectors and development of themOverall Purpose of Role:-Carry out non-destructive testing (Ultrasonic / Magnetic Particle / Dye Penetrant / RT) and prepare appropriate reports in accordance with relevant International Standards and Project Specifications.
