Overall Purpose of Role :? Work distribution, monitoring and checking for the development of piping design & construction drawings like plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping plans, Isometrics & Supports.? Ensure compliance to customer?s Technical Specifications, Company standards and Production& user department requirements.? Work in multiple projects and produce design deliverables.Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities :? Independently develop designs such as plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping plans, with overall assistance of senior / Lead Engineer.? Activity planning & scheduling along with the job engineer.? Work distribution, monitoring and checking of a team of 4 ? 5 designers.? Reviews for overall completeness, general safety issues, access and egress, materials handling scheme is being adhered to, maintenance and operability, etc.? Perform inter-disciplinary checks.? Prepare construction drawings & job package (Isos, MTO, Support details).? Develop and maintain drawing list.? Review and comment on vendor drawings.? Perform site survey as necessary.? Ensure Compliance to HSES policies and procedures as applicable.? Ensure Compliance with all applicable information security policies & procedures.Role Specific Competencies :? Minimum Education : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Discipline.? Minimum Experience : 10+ yrs. in offshore / onshore / drilling rigs - Design / Construction Industry.? Hands on experience in PDMS /Aveva, SP3D or equivalent.? Good communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.? Well conversant with Piping materials & dimensional standards.
