1. Job Purpose? Managing, validating, monitoring and administrating the e-business applications at SCS. ? Analyzing, designing, integrating and implementing e-business applications and solutions as well as supporting projects.? Troubleshooting, monitoring, deploying, facilitating and documenting e-business application issues, new installations and other related initiatives and functions and recommend improvements. ? Developing enhancements in the existing e-business applications and new e-business applications in coordination with the programmer/external vendor.2. Key Accountabilities? Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of e-business applications.? Direct and participate in all phases of system/application development including planning, analysis, evaluation, integration and testing as well as acceptance phases.? Apply high-level business or technical principles and methods to complex technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solutions.? Support the project management team in the projects cycle including translation of operational requirements into the solution scope and deployment.? Work closely with stakeholders, co-workers and end-users to identify and understand their requirements for customizations, upgrades and enhancements to the standard platform.? Continuously create and deploy solutions in e- business applications to optimize the business productivity.? Explore and evaluate application design considerations for multiple technologies.? Create and evaluate technical alternatives for complex applications.? Analyze e-business application functions and flow, identify gaps and make recommendations for enhancements.? Assist the E-Business Manager (IT) in developing and monitoring the internal policies, procedures and SLAs and ensuring compliance with them.? Assist the E-Business Manager (IT) in maintaining accurate budgeting as well as financial allocation and spending for the e-business applications and systems.? Conduct benchmark studies and researches for latest technologies, trends and best practices for e-business applications, especially in Retail sector and propose enhancements.? Assist in introducing new applications, upgrades, enhancements and integrations in coordination with programmers and external vendors.? Assist in project implementation, testing and design of e-business applications.? Resolve e-business related hardware, software and system problems.? Prepare technical design documents and blueprint for applications in consultation with Senior ERP Engineer.? Install new e-business application releases and system upgrades as well as patches.? Ensure all activities are in line with the internal policy and set procedures and standards.
