WTG Package Manager ? 12 Month Contract (Extensions Likely) ? RemoteA remote contract, with some travel required, this opportunity is available for any candidate willing to work remotely across Europe. This is your chance to collaborate with leaders in the renewable energy industry and help them in their mission to secure a sustainable future.WTG Package Manager Responsibilities:* Maintain the package strategy to develop a robust and reliable technical solution, optimising the WTG layout and performance, focusing on the LCOE, and respecting Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality requirements.* Implement the agreed procurement strategy for the package, including interaction with contractors during the contract negotiations, lead the assessment of the contractors? responses and offers, make the recommendation on the selection of the preferred supplier, and lead in the negotiation of the finalized contracts.* Take overall responsibility for the coordination of the day-to-day activities of the package.* Manage the package schedule, progress, and expenditure against budget, including reporting on progress status and highlighting any challenges.* Collaborate with the Design Manager to ensure that certification of the WTG/WTG Foundation structure and compliance with regulatory requirements is achieved and ensure that the combined design optimizes LCOE, takes fabrication and installation constraints into account and meets all requirements in terms of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality.* Provide CAPEX and OPEX updates regularly to feed into the Project?s business model.* Maintain package related elements of the Project?s Risk Register, ensuring that the package?s risk profile is understood, appropriately managed, and communicated to the Senior Management Team.* Collaborate with other members of the team throughout the development and execution work phases.* Ensure interfaces with other work packages, contractors, and internal and external stakeholders are identified and appropriately managed.* Ensure consent requirements are suitably developed, translated into the work package contracts, and met during execution.WTG Package Manager Requirements:* Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering or project management discipline.* Detailed understanding of the design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning of WTGs for offshore wind developments.* Significant experience in managing large packages of work delivered by EPCI contractors to agreed time, cost, and quality targets.* Knowledge of regulatory requirements.* Knowledge and experience of managing contractors to meet or exceed HSSE requirements.* Excellent Project Management skills, including contract management and administration, coordination, cost control, risk and programme management.* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team on large infrastructure projects.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Able to work under significant pressure to tight timescales and financial constraints.If you would like to be considered for this WTG Package Manager role, make your application today!The candidate must have the rights to work in the location stated in the job advert.
