What you will be doing* Actively highlight any potential delays.* Analyze and approve extension of time and claims.* Communicate with all trades and provide efficient feedback.* Develop presentations and reports.* Ensure that long lead materials are submitted, procured and delivered on time.* Examine the recovery plans.* Initiate and reply to formal letters.* Monitor the site and engineering activities based on the approved construction schedule.* Review and action the construction schedules and recommend areas for improvements. Required Experience* Minimum of 18 years overall experience in development or construction projects including multi-storey residential buildings having worked with engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.Education* Minimum qualification of degree in an Engineering related field. A postgraduate degree of the same and/or registration as member from recognized professional body is an advantage. Certifications & Memberships* Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer's society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).* Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Cost Control (e.g., CCP) is highly desirable.Essential Skills* Software skills with microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects. * Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.* Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.* Client focussed, providing advice and services. * Works well in a team with a collaborative approach. * Detail minded, thorough and systematic in their approach to work.SkillsAbout the Role* Apply project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure that the project finish date and milestones are successfully achieved.
