Our team ensures our wells and designed and planned effectively and efficiently to optimize energy extraction for our customers.Lead a team that makes a difference to our businessAs the Well Planner, you will take ownership of planning and designing wells for our customers. Leading a team of well planners and applications engineers youll oversee the mechanical design and architecture of wells. Working with real-time data, youll ensure efficiency and deliver results for our customersAs a Well Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • At a regional level - Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions while interfacing with the commercial team.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of power generation markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies.
  • Calculating of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Documenting technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases.
  • Resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
  • Working closely with people from the business unit.
  • Communicating with the direct team and supervisor.
  • Presenting to internal teams on metrics, project status and research.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have leadership experience in an Energy environment with an understanding of Well Planning & Design
  • Have experience of working with customers, identifying and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate a good aptitude for relationship building and the ability to generate confidence in your contacts
  • Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology
