Job Purpose:The primary responsibilities will be to lead on all Water Treatment Plant operations to ensure continuous safe and quality service.You will implement operation strategies as the plant assets owner in order to improve the service quality and plant performance, and monitor and evaluate the service provider operation performance in accordance with contract terms and conditions.Major Accountabilities:You will:Monitor the Operations and Service Provider?s performance on a day-to-day basis of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).Lead and follow up on action implementation of the annual risk register and business continuity for waste water, storm water control system and associated networks.Manage the annual HSE external and internal audits and assure closing the findings in due dates.Ensure all contract terms and conditions are applied and all required reports and documentations are provided, reviewed and approved by KAUST.Monitor WWTP plant performance and ensure working with the best efficiency.Review and approve the annual operations plan prepared by service provider.Ensure the Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipment in the WWTP is performed according to the approved operational plan.Assure utilities quality services by monitors daily operations process parameters.Audit the service quality through monitoring the testing of microbiological analysis of the water samples.Conduct a comprehensive analysis of all treatment processes for service quality improvement.Evaluate the plant operational performance in accordance to the contractual SLA?s and KPIs.Coordinate the safety and energy annual goals for the plant.Ensure execution of safety awareness programs (Tool Boxes, Safety Walkthrough, etc.).Perform periodic service provider performance evaluation and report findings recommendation.Sign all plant related permit to work (PTW) as a proponent representative.Coordination with all end users service related requirements and issues.Lead and coordinate field emergency response plan actionsOwn and update the waste water plant operation dashboard.Analyze and evaluate the performance of plant operations and recommend improvements or upgrades as required.Manage the Utilities Services Contract terms and conditions and be responsible for the implantation of the required terms, document reviews, KPIs and SLAs evaluation.Provides common administrative duties such as purchase supplies, plan budgets, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates.Conducted periodic safety walkthroughs with the HSE department and the service provider to highlight the items of concern.Involved in the detailed design review, commissioning, and handover when required.Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.Experience:6+ years? experience? in Water Treatment Operations, Maintenance and Process Engineering.With 3 years in supervisory position in related field.
