Job Description

NEXERIUM is seeking an Unreal Engine Specialist (VR/World Building) proficient in Unreal Engine and experienced in sophisticated world-building for immersive environments. This role is instrumental in creating high-impact visual experiences for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of technical skill, a formal or self-taught understanding of Unreal engine and software programming, and the ability to collaborate on large-scale projects.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Development: Spearhead the creation and optimization of immersive virtual environments in Unreal Engine, ensuring technical efficiency and visual fidelity.
  2. Collaboration: Work in conjunction with a team of designers, developers, and project managers to realize comprehensive project visions and meet developmental milestones.
  3. Psychological Insight: Apply principles of human behavior and cognition to the construction of intuitive and engaging virtual experiences.
  4. Software Proficiency: Develop and debug robust software solutions in languages such as C++, C#, and Python, adhering to industry best practices.
  5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and refinement of virtual environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and user accessibility.
  • Candidate Profile:
    • Expertise in developing within the Unreal Engine platform, with a strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects and innovative solutions.
    • Proficient in coding with languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
    • Experience or knowledge in the principles of human behavior and user experience design.
    • Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with both technical and creative teams.
    • Prior experience in the film or entertainment industry is an advantage, though not mandatory.
    Educational Qualifications:While we recognize the value of formal education, NEXERIUM places greater emphasis on hands-on experience, skill proficiency, and demonstrable creativity.
