DescriptionTyphoon Ground Support Systems (GSS) Consolidation Administrator Salary: CompetitiveLocation: Taif, Saudi ArabiaJOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government?s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.The function of the Ground Support Systems (GSS) Consolidation Administrator is to co-ordinate, oversee and deliver engineering, technical and recording aspects encompassed with the GSS consolidation cell. The GSS Consolidation Administrator will provide, direction and guidance to the those people engaged in GSS Consolidation Activities, ensuring that day-to-day liaison between the GSS Manager, GSS Consolidation Supervisor and the RSAF GSS Managers is carried out and they have a clear understanding of any consolidation aspects that could affect consolidation progress.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESIn addition, the GSS Consolidation Administrator will be responsible to the GSS Consolidation Supervisor for the following:

• The delivery of all Typhoon GSS Administrator consolidation activities to the RSAF and PC Saudi National employees.
• Design, prepare, and deliver a consolidation activity syllabus to cover all aspects of the GSS Administration role.
• Delivery of all Typhoon GSS Administration consolidation activities associated with the delivery, mobilisation and maintenance of all GSS installations in support of RSAF Typhoon operations at main operating bases and KSA based deployments.
• Oversee the recording individuals progress and reporting to the GSS Consolidation Supervisor.
• The management of individuals GSS Administrator log books, ensuring that are both current and complete. Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the system infrastructure and consolidation environment; Ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to qualified processes within the organisation.
• Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware and software related to the GSS Operational infrastructure to be utilised in support of GSS administration consolidation activities.
• Supports technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the GSS.
• Ensure that all GSS system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures, adhere to qualified processes within the organisation.
• Resolve GSS issues in a timely fashion and reflect best practice in the delivery of GSS advice and solutions.
• Accountable to the GSS Consolidation Supervisor for meeting all set GSS SA consolidation activity targets.
• Accountable to the GSS Consolidation Supervisor for the delivery associated with GSS SA consolidation activities and compliance with the Salam QMS.
• Ensure effective adherence of Safety, SHE and Quality Assurance across all GSS related activities, including compliance with all related regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with all governance requirements of the Operational Framework including; ITAR, planning, monitoring, change control, control of budgets.
• Understand the IBP and how the IBP impacts on the Business objectives and be able to convey to the team how their respective roles align with the overall Business plan.
• Understand all aspects of GSS and its associated systems and how their availability impacts on the Business objectives, and be able to convey to the team how their respective roles align with the overall Business plan.
• Ensure that all individuals are led, developed and motivated to ensure they are aware of and capable of meeting their accountabilities.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATIONEssential

• Must have extensive experience within the field of Operational IT, Infrastructure management and service delivery in respect of GSS.
• Ideally educated to bachelor degree level in a relevant computer science or engineering discipline.
• Have completed a recognised Instructional Techniques course and have proven practical experience in course design/training delivery.
• High level of interpersonal skills, able to co-ordinate a number of activities and the ability to communicate, influence and direct decision making.
• Relevant GSS hardware qualifications (Fujitsu, NetApp, Cisco).
• Relevant GSS software qualifications ( MS Windows, Oracle, AIX).
• Aircraft data management experience.
• TeamCenter experience.
• IMS experience.
• trilogiView experience.
• WDMS experience.

RECRUITMENT

• Extensive experience in the management and delivery of training activities, focused on IT systems and their administration.
• Extensive experience in systems installation, setting to work, commissioning and customer acceptance of IT systems.
• Understanding and application of the LCM processes.
• Change management of IT systems.
• Configuration and baseline management of IT systems.
