Your future role:Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive troubleshooting expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates.Youll be pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of Diesel locomotives by expertly diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Maintenance, Quality Control, and Design Engineering), contribute to the improvement of fault-finding processes and much more.We’ll look to you for:Analyzing and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues within diesel locomotives,Implementing effective solutions to resolve faults and prevent recurrence,Collaborating with the Engineering Manager to ensure the delegation of responsibilities aligns with project needs,Developing and optimizing maintenance procedures and protocols,Communicating clearly and effectively with clients and team members regarding technical issues and solutions,Ensuring all activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance,Documenting fault findings and repair actions accurately for maintenance records and reports,Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff,Continuously updating personal technical knowledge and skill set to enhance service quality,Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices within the companyAll about you:We value passion and attitude over experience.
