Job Description

The Transportation Manager is responsible for managing the transportation operations of an organization, including the management of transportation staff, scheduling and dispatching vehicles, and ensuring compliance with transportation laws and regulations.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transportation operations of the organization, including scheduling and dispatching vehicles, tracking transportation metrics, and ensuring compliance with transportation laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the transportation function
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and administrative personnel
  • Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective transportation operations
  • Manage transportation budgets and ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
