Job Description

Role purpose:To ensure and manage all transportation activities under Logistics within Nesma in order to provide timely and efficient support and service to its own employeesKey Activities:

  • Ensure appropriate safety procedures for transportation
  • Ensure high level of employees service is emphasized at all levels
  • Carry out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and procedures
  • Ensure drivers are performing all of their necessary tasks and responsibilities
  • Maintain frequent contact with management staff and employees
  • Mentor and assist employees
  • Manage staff of drivers
  • Communicate effectively with employees
  • Implement approved Logistics department?s policies, processes, and procedures
  • Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
