Job Description

About this role:

  • Program heat treatment furnaces at the correct operating temperatures, times, speeds, and at any other criteria according to specification documentation
  • Standardize heat treatment parameters for various products/specifications
  • Improve heat treatment processes and methods for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency
  • Actively involve in developing and establishing heat treatment process for new products/specifications
  • Train and mentor Hot Rolling personnel regarding the use and operation of equipment according to manufacturer safety standards and the fundamental principles of heat treatment
  • Provide technical support for existing equipment and processes with focus on heat treating metals
  • Provide Manufacturing and/or technical knowledge and skills to support JESCO business processes that allow JESCO to meet business goals
  • Develop and mentor Technology and Manufacturing (as individuals or as a group) through the execution of projects and/or the Technology Work Processes
  • Actively involved with the regular checking of equipment and perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, and calibrations.
What you need to bring:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering - Mechanical/Metallurgy or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years Experience in working on heat treatment furnaces and heat treatment process in steel pipe or steel industry
  • Familiar with API 5CT & 5L.
