Technical Specialist, Optical MicroscopyLocation:Saudi Arabia Optical Technical Specialist at Imaging and Characterization Core Lab, specialized in histology and optical microscopy.Other duties as assigned by the team lead and lab director.Good knowledge of optical microscopy techniques, cell biology and cell structureGeneral understanding and expertise in cell/tissue fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining.Ability to work in a team with staff and students. Willing to work in a service environment .Hands-on experience on microtome, cryostat, tissue processor, cell sample preparationWorking experience with cell culture.Hands-on experience on wide-field optical microscopes.Hands-on experience on confocal microscope is preferred.Good communication and inter-personal skills.Experience working in a laboratory environment showing a good familiarity with lab procedures and safety precautions.
