Our Land Mobility is implementing the first truly sustainable and seamlessly connected mobility system powered by 100% renewable energy, deploying zero-emission vehicles across all urban and regional mobility modes. We want you to be part of this new project and for that we have partnered with Airswift to support us with our recruitment. Key Responsibilities and background:

• Oversee the agile delivery of innovative IT subsystems to implement various parts of our Digital Mobility Platform from project inception throughout the delivery of a minimum viable system and subsequent iterative releases
• Support the Product Managers to develop well-structured and comprehensive agile project roadmaps incorporating requirements from a multitude of internal and external stakeholders incl. agile modifications to the roadmap in case it is required
• Management of subsystems delivery dependencies through an appropriate Agile mechanism, such as release trains in SAFe
• Actively manage RAID logs and all related activities for all deliveries they are project managing, including the proactive identification and mitigation of risks and issues
• Monitor and document project progress incl. deliverables against the project timeline and prioritize required activities together with our product managers, ensuring that all objectives are satisfactorily fulfilled in time
• Ensure successful communication of the subsystems and platform delivery status, as the main point of contact for technical teams in context of our Digital Mobility Platform
• Conduct recurring alignment meetings, manage expectations, report progress to senior management, and manage escalations
• Pragmatically solve problems that occur in the course of the project, define project risks and mitigation approaches
• Manage and motivate project stakeholders to support their ambition, give feedback on performance, and create a high-performance environment in your project
• Create and maintain project budget planning and monitor expenditures/income
• Forecast and ensure the availability of required materials and resources on the project-, vendor-, and customer side

 Critical Skills & Personal Attributes:

• Approx. 7-10 years of work experience in complex IT system project management, preferably in a scaled agile delivery context
• Graduate / postgraduate degree in a related discipline (e.g., information technology, management, economics etc.)
• Project experience (incl. academic context) in related projects
• Complete fluency in English is required
• Complete fluency in Arabic and other languages will be an advantage
• Project management certification is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with common project management software used in agile IT development (e.g., Gira, Confluence, etc.)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), with knowledge in other presentational and organizational products or multi-media tools being an advantage
• Extensive experience in agile and classic IT project management with strong track record of successful and complex projects
• Extensive knowledge of agile project management in the context of a never-ending product delivery (as opposed to a finite project)
• Extensive experience working in large scale agile delivery programmes, preferably using an appropriate agile framework (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
• Good knowledge and understanding of what is involved in developing and operating IT systems, in particular cloud native environments
