Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Technical Documentation:
  • Review and prepare architectural drawings and designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Prepare material take-offs and quantities for cost estimation.
  • Assist in the preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design modifications.
  1. Coordination with Design and Construction Teams:
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project meets architectural specifications.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure designs are correctly implemented.
  • Review contractor submissions and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with architectural plans.
  • Communicate design changes or revisions to the construction team.
  1. Site Supervision & Quality Control:
  • Assist in the coordination of construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to architectural plans and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality, compliance, and progress of work.
  • Ensure proper handling and installation of materials as per the architectural requirements.
  • Address and resolve technical problems on-site and report any deviations from the architectural design.
  1. Project Management Support:
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide input on the selection and sourcing of construction materials.
  • Assist in tracking project costs and ensuring that the project stays within the allocated budget.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and correspondence.
  1. Technical Support:
  • Offer technical advice and solutions to construction teams and other engineers.
  • Review the feasibility of design solutions and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure effective communication between the architectural team and the on-site construction team.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all designs, drawings, and construction activities meet local building codes and regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, building codes, and construction methodologies.
