• The Systems Engineer IT role is to manage systems, servers, storage devices and network connections to ensure high availability and security of the supported for business needs. This individual also participates in the planning, monitoring key metrics and implementation of standard IT procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company.
  • Manage IT Helpdesk and end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations of server
  • Manage AD Console ? user, groups, objects etc ? reports for GCC based.
  • Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup standard operating procedures.
  • Backup Administrator: - Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
  • Troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on servers and workstations. Escalate incidents, as necessary.
  • Manage all the tickets which is assigned to RG from IT helpdesk.
  • Manage IT asset including maintenance of server component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware upgrades patches and reconfigurations etc.
  • Manage vendors, and Service Providers, contractors to secure software products and services
  • Manage Drive Permissions, ACL?s
  • Have familiarity with NAS and SAN storage management.
  • Provide support for IT Security and Compliance activities, ranging from client questionnaires to internal audits and implementing changes.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  Knowledge and skills required:
  • Senior school and relevant completed diploma/degree or industry qualification
  • At least 5 years? IT support
  • Strong business acumen
  • Knowledge of Windows, SQL & Exchange environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and their support
  • Experience in LAN/WAN/internet technologies
  • Strong IT project management skills (from inception through to delivery)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic
