Job Description

SummarySupervises the Laboratory Supply daily activities, responsible for inventory of laboratory supplies, and organizing supply store. Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Schedules and supervises daily work flow to facilitate the filling of requisitions, and ensures that deliveries of laboratory items are handled in an expeditious manner assuring effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
  2. Ensures the efficient replenishment and distribution of items in the Supply Store.
  3. Ensures that adequate inventory levels of supplies are available in the Supply Store and initiates replacement requests to meet anticipated needs.
  4. Assists the Laboratory Administration to liaise with other hospital/institutions, under the established Hospital Sharing Program, to borrow/exchange laboratory items to meet the urgent requirements of KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).
  5. Trains employees and evaluates employee performance.
  6. Assists the Laboratory Administration in performing period and annual inventories as required to balance quantity on hand with inventory records.
  7. Assists in the development of policies and procedures governing the activities of the Laboratory Supply.
  8. Responsible for organizing and neatness of Supply Store.
  9. Follows all KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) policies and procedures.
  10. Participates in self, others education, training and development, as applicable.
  11. Performs any other related duties, as assigned.
EducationBachelors or Associate Degree/Diploma in Material Management, Hospital Administration, Business administration or any related discipline isrequired.Experience RequiredOne (1) year of related experience with Bachelors Degree, or three (3) years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)N/A.
