Supervises the ongoing performance of all assets (plant and people) in their area of designation to ensure safety, quality and operations meet predefined, ongoing and developing business needs and maintain the uninterrupted supply of the specified product. They work closely with the shift supervisor to monitor day to day activities and troubleshooting for plant related issues and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders and service providers.You will be responsible to:Identify competency levels of subordinates regarding safety and operational training requirements for the entire production area and manage accordingly.Continuous liaison with training coordinator and safety facilitatorManage on the job safety and training requirements for the entire production areaAudit safety systems and field communications systems of all production shifts weekly and monthlyManage small projects as delegated from the ManagerMaintain and improve safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, 14000, 18001)Manage production targets for area and shiftAttend to process failures and ensure speedy recovery of processesImprove and maintain cross functional customer relationshipsAssist with and coordinate trouble shooting to identify root cause for substandard operating conditions.Reconcile weekly and monthly raw material and product stocksEnsure integrity of product stock grading and put systems in place to avoid contamination.Continuous liaison between SHE, Training and Stores departmentsComputer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointOverseeing the compilation of standards and procedures and enforcing these standards in the workplace.Actively manage continuous improvement within his department through the MOC systemTake charge of his manager’s responsibilities in his absence.Minimum Qualification:Bachelor’s / Diploma degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum Experience:8 - 10 years of experience, familiar working within manufacturing environment preferable Metallurgy or Petrochemical.Minimum 5 years of experience in Supervisory role.Required Skills:Priority managementKnowledge in ManagementBuilding relationshipsCommunicating openly and honestlyCommitting to safetyRespect for the environment.Build and Lead teams.Empowering teamDevelop engineering solutions.lead the troubleshooting activities.Lead or participate in RCA.Asset management skills.Supervisory skills.Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.Create and maintain a high-performance organization.Ability to stand-in for Manager when on leave.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
