To ensure maximum cargo intake and optimal voyage planning, taking vessels safety, crane split, port restrictions and trim in to account, stowage planning executed with In the SOLAS, ISM, and other legal requirement and in the most economical way.Client DetailsOur client is a confidential organization within the logistics and supply chain sector with the vision of becoming a leader within the market and industry.DescriptionResponsible for creation of loading /unloading plans and maintaining the quality of the plans.Plan and monitor vessels safe condition, in close coordination with vessel commandOptimize coastal schedules, taking overall fuel consumption, draft/trim and port restrictions in to accountMonitor vessels speed performance through noon reports, address irregularities in noon report and voyage departure reports (VDR). Ensure high data quality in reports.Minimize Restow (inefficient move of container rehandling)Optimize cargo intake and establish max guaranteed intake on the deployed route.Optimize trim and draft through optimal stowage always ensuring minimal fuel consumption for the voyageMonitor and validate requests for Out Of Gauge (OOG) special containers, Break Bulk cargoInsure no hazardous materials are loaded without having been approved by the Dangerous Cargo Desks.Manage Change of Discharge request (COD).Liaise with terminal planner and shift manager for effective deploying number of cranes.Close coordinate coastal schedules with port agent.Monitor Terminal Departure Reports (TDR) address issues and irregularities.Validate planned vs. actual: moves, crane split, draft and shifting, hatch cover moves.ProfileDegree in Maritime Transport is preferableWorked in a similar role for minimum of 3 years.Professional experience as a Deck officer (2nd/chief Officer) and/or terminal or similar experience in vessel operation.
