Job Description

Specialty Imaging Technologist - CTBasic FunctionPerform various Computed Tomography (CT) exams in Dhahran and the Districts . Examples and not limited to:

  • All routine CT exams
  • Cardiac CT
  • CTC
  • CT guided biopsies
ScopeThe work will be in Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Radiology Imaging Department. The work assignment will be in Dhahran or Al Hasa/UDH, based on the operational need. The working hours will be mandated to meet the operational needs as directed by the Radiology Management. Principal ContactsInteraction will be on a daily basis with all Radiology or other technical staff and management as needed. Periodic Interaction with other services in JHAH or/and the other services key personnel may also be required.Principal Duties
  • Performs exams according to routine protocols
  • Performs independently all the routine exams
  • Performs under minimal supervision the advanced CT exams, including Cardiac CT, CTA and CTC.
  • Keeps up to date with advances in CT
  • Supervise and train junior CT technologist and students
  • Is capable of adjusting the current standards CT in order to obtain better image quality and increase quantity in the workflow
  • Follows established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science or Computed Tomography specialty
  • Masters degree in Radiologic Science or Computed Tomography specialty
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years. clinical experience in CT with Bachelors degree, OR
  • Minimum 2 yrs. clinical experience with Masters degree in CT or Radiologic Sciences
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
  • Eligibility to acquire and maintain a current Saudi Commission of Health Specialties license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
