Job Description

The Senior Accountants responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, accounts reconciliation, preparation of financial reports, support for statutory audits and tax returns. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience in the medical sector, an excellent understanding of the workings of payment collections, a good general knowledge of ERP and will ensure that the books are accurate and timely, as well as compliant with Saudi Arabian GAAP and Masimos internal policies.This position also participates in other accounting and reporting projects. The Senior Accountant provides day-to-day support to Masimo Saudi Arabia management and to various functions and geographies within Masimo companies. Although physically based in Saudi Arabia, the Senior Accountant joins a team of finance and accounting professionals located primarily in Switzerland and the United States.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with local operations team to ensure timely receipt of documentation needed for revenue recognition
  • In conjunction with local logistics and operations teams, ensure proper reconciliations and recording of inventories
  • Oversees Buy & Sell accounting activities, record intercompany invoices
  • Responsible to perform system invoicing from the ERP
  • Issue local customer interfacing e-invoices under ZAKAT format
  • Maintain and reconcile invoice log between invoices raised from ERP and e-invoicing interface
  • Reconcile customer accounts to maintain up to date customer account information
  • Support the cash collection process to ensure timely receipt of customer payments
  • Work with customer service department and sales team on customer inquiries related to invoicing
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and yearly close, including ERP close process
  • Prepare monthly GL activities, journals and accruals; perform balance sheet reconciliation and analytical reviews.
  • Assist management for ad-hoc projects
  • Ensure compliance with the company policies and other control procedures.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Four or more years of experience in accounting.
  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Must possess excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadline for month end and yearend close
  • Excellent command of English is a must, other languages would be a clear advantage
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working in multinational environment is an asset
  • Driven and able to work independently in an efficient manner and keen to take on new challenges. Proactive and team player oriented.
Education
  • Associate in accounting or commercial degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Drivers license is required.The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
