Job Description

Responsible for supporting the current manufacturing materials requirements. Working closely with R&D Dept. Engineering Dept. Marketing Dept. and facilitating them in the development of New and alternate materials and sources of materials. Responsible of sample approval form .Extensively involved in cost reductions by introducing alternate sources. Also, responsible for opening and handling all the LC?s with Banks & SuppliersResponsibilities:

  1. Developing any new Suppliers / Sub-Contractors.
  2. Sourcing of New Materials (Direct / Indirect).
  3. Responsible of Sample Approval Form until it?s fully Completed.
  4. Supporting Buyers / Planners for the expediting the purchasing activities.
  5. Supporting Materials Team.
  6. Manage DPO (Days Payable Outstanding) by working with Suppliers to extend Payment Terms with them impacting directly TWC.
  7. Conducting Suppliers Due-Diligence & Periodic Evaluations
  8. Handling, IRIS Claims with Suppliers supporting Quality Team
  9. Working on alternate specifications with Engineering & R&D Depts.
  10. Facilitate Product Development activities with Engineering & R&D Depts.
  11. Critical Commodity Management for Factory
  12. Represent Factory at Regional Level for assigned Commodities in-depth analysis for Commodity Strategy
  13. Manage Commodity Purchases in order to deliver savings, which directly impact the EBIT
