Job Description

  1. Performs ultrasound examinations including uftrasonography of the abdomen, pelvis, obstetric & breast
  2. Submit the images to the radiologist for discussion and reporting.
  3. Call the radiologist for consultation during the examination in difficult cases.
  4. Be responsible for correct identification of patients and site of examination.
  5. Explain the procedure, initruct the patient in assuming physical position for examination.
  6. Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to the organ to be examined.
  7. Keys patient information into ultrasound equipment to maintain record of images.
