The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain operations. The expertise in pharmaceutical supply chain management will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.Client DetailsOur client is a leading pharmaceutical company with regional exposure and operations across the GCC, Middle East, Europe and North America.DescriptionStrategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives, ensuring the availability and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products to meet customer demands.Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to optimize product availability, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure the highest quality materials, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.Distribution and Logistics: Oversee the distribution network, transportation, and logistics activities, including selection of logistics partners, route optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement across the supply chain, implement best practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems (e.g., Good Manufacturing Practices). Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to align supply chain activities, drive synergies, and support new product launches.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor supply chain performance.
