Job Description

Senior Site Project Manager (CMEI Executions)PRINCIPAL DUTIES and ACCOUNTABILITIESThe role requires an experienced project professional who has worked and executed large scale EPC projects. The required candidate is also required to have experience in interface management, integration, conflict resolutions and negotiations . The role will be a site based role with below duties:

  • Support site planning team in schedule reviews and work progress
  • Support construction team in constructability sequence reviews.
  • Support Advance Work Packages and Construction Advance Packages.
  • Accountable for Site Interface Management
  • Responsible for all site coordination works
  • Support site engineering manager
  • Technical support for cost negotiations, change order claims etc..
  • Involve in bid evaluation and contract scope finalization
  • Coordination for construction quality compliance checks and procedures.
General Duties
  • Support development of effective construction execution plans;
  • Coordinate assigned activities with Area project managers
  • Review the progress of the Project Site activities in accordance with the approved schedule with the site construction managers;
  • Identify potential problems/risks and propose mitigating actions and plans;
  • Analyze problems, identify and approve alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and ensure the implementation of the recommendations by respective functional leads.
  • Support the review of the risk plan to ensure minimization of risks through early identification, planning, and selection of best possible contracting strategies and proactive Project Management practices which focus on prevention of problem;
  • Monitor the progress of the field cost against approved budget, forecast potential variance and formalize thru the change management process;
  • Support the site interface team and PMs to ensure effective coordination and resolution amongst multiple project stakeholders and site contractors;
  • Support the Lessons-learned program by supervising the implementation of approved learnings, as well as recording those lessons learned during the execution of projects;
  • Coordinate with subcontract team in managing and resolving site issues with subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams during the transition from Mechanical Completion to Commissioning.
  • Steer the operation readiness inspection (ORI) / Pre-Start up safety review across allactioners.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers for any site supports needed.
