This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overlooking for the risk management performance on their assigned commission(s).
  • Creating/designing effective risk management framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).
  • Managing and directing clients, consultants, contractors, project team on assigned commission(s) on all risk management matters.
  • Providing partnership with clients meeting their expectations and building strong professional relationships.
  • Providing expert advice and support to project/programme teams in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key project objectives and escalation of risks.
  • Facilitating and driving the delivery of risk workshops.
  • Working with project managers to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure.
  • Ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, risk and action owners appointed and that project plans are updated accordingly and monitored.
  • Directing and supervising the delivery of project/programme quantitative risk analysis (cost and time).
  • Giving comments on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle as required.
  • Developing and delivering monthly risk reports, externally to the client and internally to the project team.
  • Ensuring all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace control centre, client requirements and prevailing legislation.
  • Providing line management to more junior risk managers and other project/programme staff as required.
  • Utilising expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of junior members of risk team.
  • Supervising the integration of risk with PMO and planning disciplines.
  • Supporting the hub risk lead with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.
About youWith a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams.
