Job Description

This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.The infrastructure package consists of civils (structures), utilities, roads, and public realm elements. These works are undertaken concurrently across the project starting with the civils package.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for acting as senior project manager for an established infrastructure programme.
  • Being fully aware of the project objectives in line with the project execution plan, leading and supervising the relevant project team/parties to achieve these objectives.
  • Assisting in the design, management, and maintenance of wet infrastructure systems, including water supply, irrigation, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management.
  • Verifying the design specifications, construction plans, and budget estimates under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Supporting the project teams, including assisting with tasks, setting goals, and providing updates.
  • Conducting site assessments, including identifying infrastructure problems, and developing solutions to address them.
  • Managing and directing multiple contractors and consultants engaged in high-profile projects at various stages of work.
  • Participating in planning and monitoring the progress of the programme and suite of contracts.
  • Ensuring project budgets and quality systems are in place and suitably managed and monitored.
  • Managing relevant meetings and site walks and ensuring these are suitably recorded.
  • Being actively involved in risk management.
  • Ensuring contract administration is up to date and coordinated.
  • Communicating with all project parties/stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained.
  • Participating in developing maintenance plans to ensure that wet infrastructure systems are functioning properly and are well-maintained.
  • Working collaboratively and always in an inclusive manner.
  • Being actively engaged in health, safety and wellbeing overseeing HSE rules and regulations and ensuring a proactive approach.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
About youYou have a degree in Mechanical engineering and member of a construction-related professional body, you will have knowledge of the technical requirements of mega infrastructure development projects including wet utilities including storm, sewer, water, irrigation and district cooling networks in addition consultants, packages contractors, you will have excellent knowledge of contract admin, procurement, logistics and construction phasing, excellent skills in communicating and presenting, management, communication, and reporting.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
