This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.The infrastructure package consists of civils (structures), utilities, roads, and public realm elements. These works are undertaken concurrently across the project starting with the civils package.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the design and construction works, including the interface works with contracts.
  • Managing the sequence of works and schedules proposed by consultants and contractors with the project scheduler.
  • Managing the construction logistic, site utilization plan, site possession phasing plan, stockpile, and excavation/backfilling planning with project control.
  • Managing and directing multiple contractors and consultants engaged in high-profile projects at various stages of work.
  • Preparing tenders and managing the contract for instrumentation and monitoring.
  • Assisting the infrastructure SLT in managing the substructure contract.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of work.
  • Aiding in establishing and running suitable governance to oversee and take decisions on the companys position, escalating risks and issues through existing company governance.
  • Supporting in managing and developing resources across organisational functions, ensuring knowledge and competence are maintained to deliver business objectives.
  • Contributing to the resolution of technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members, such as technicians, junior engineers, and apprentices.
  • Monitoring and protecting our client relationships planning and programming commercial management and presenting projects for audit.
  • Having a strong background in managing, accounting for and assessing risk with an understanding of risk identification and management.
  • Working in collaboration with other work packages to ensure the integrity of the overall programme.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings as required.
  • Management within an integrated client/consultant team organization.
About youYou have a relevant degree qualification, masters preferred. You will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification. Experience in delivering similar types of high-end luxury hospitality and high-rise buildings and/or apartments is a good to have but not a must.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
