Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract management and supplier relationship management. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company obtains the best value for money and quality from its suppliers, while also adhering to all relevant regulations and ethical standards.Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet project specifications and timelines.
  1. Supplier Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage supplier performance improvement plans.
  1. Negotiation and Contract Management:
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  1. Cost Management:
  • Monitor and control procurement costs to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets and forecasts.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers.
  1. Project Support:
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
  1. Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and supplier performance.
