SummaryOperates and maintains machinery and equipment providing light, heat, power, water, LPG, oxygen, compressed air and other utilities services.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Operates and maintains oil fired boilers, related equipment, auxiliary services, standby electrical supply system and other standby equipment.2. Monitors and records all machinery performance readings, verifies reports and takes necessary corrective action.3. Assists in developing operational procedures and provides technical instruction to optimize the operation of the equipment and enhance reliability.4. Inspects and maintains equipment during shift to detect any malfunctions. Maintains log sheets showing operating data of equipment. Maintains all records related to the operation and maintenance of utilities equipment.5. Participates in the commissioning work and function test of new equipment/systems, as related.6. Operates electrical transmission and distribution control switchgear systems as instructed.7. Ensures safe isolation/ clearance of all plant systems that require preventive maintenance or repair.8. Coordinates and participates in drills and implementation of all disaster and contingency plans as required.9. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.10. Follows all Hospitals related Policies and Procedures.11. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.12. Performs other related duties as assigned.EducationBachelors or Associate Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline is required.Experience RequiredThree (3) years of related experience with the Bachelors Degree, or Six (6) years with Diploma/Associate is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)Saudi drivers license is required. (A drivers license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi drivers license)
