Senior Offshore Site Manager ? 4 Year Contract ? Northeast EnglandOur client are a leading developer in the offshore wind industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets, and they are recruiting for a Senior Offshore Site Manager. With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe and emerging international markets.Senior Offshore Site Manager Responsibilities:* Plan, coordinate and manage the Offshore Site Management services for the construction and commissioning phases of the project safely, within defined budgets and according to with the project?s programme.* Ensure the duties of the Principal Contractor are discharged in accordance with CDM 2015.* Establish and manage an OSM team with sufficient to deliver the services required to support the installation and commissioning of the project in compliance with permit and consent obligations.* Interface and coordinate with the wider project, organisation and tier 1 contractors on all OSM-related matters.* Represent the project at senior level in OSM-related matters with external 3rd party organisations and consenting/permitting bodies (to include but not limited to HSE, MMO, and TCE).* Produce and maintain of all required OSM and PC-related documentation to a suitably high and timely standard.* Routinely report progress by the leadership team with particular emphasis on Health, Safety and Environmental management performance, highlighting departure from plan (schedule and budget) and recovery measures.* Perform financial close of contracts on completion of the work.Senior Offshore Site Manager Requirements:* IOSH/ NEBOSH certification.* Full GWO?s (preferable).* Degree in a numerate subject (engineering, mathematics, science etc).* Project Management qualification or membership of project management association would be advantageous.
