Job Description

MIS Specialist is responsible for ensuring well-organized system for data collection documentation and project filing so that regular reliable data is provided to project management team against objectives and indicators of Salla. Incumbent will work with Salla?s Finance team to ensure all the requirements for project information documentation project reporting and effective management decision making. The MIS Specialist will also work closely with all projects requiring support the management information technology team.Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to staff in how to not only use but to maximize use of the generated tools and collected data in project management.
  • Support the Management Information team in preparing regular and ad-hoc financial reporting for the company
  • Take lead in development of project database for each of the project components.
  • Update the project database by entering the project data and qualitative information as collected by project field staff.
  • Circulate the update version of project databases with project management team in IT Team.
  • Lead in the dissemination of information and program data to Finance Department, Top Management and other stakeholders based on the requirement, internal policy and procedures.
  • Support the Finance team in development of questionnaires and tools for project baseline and end line surveys.
  • Coordinate with IT Team for the interest of software implementation and data analysis tools/requirements.
  • Perform Other duties as required in line with the skills experience and role.
